A swivel connector joins two standard oxygen tubes end-to-end while allowing full 360° rotation at the joint. As you walk, turn and sleep, the joint rotates instead of the tubing twisting – preventing the coiled, kinked tubing that restricts oxygen flow. Setup: push each tubing end firmly onto the connector until snug. Listen for hissing – a soft hiss means a loose fit and lost oxygen. When to replace: replace a connector when it discolours, cracks or no longer grips tubing tightly.
