The humidifier connector tube carries humidified oxygen from the bottle’s outlet fitting to your nasal cannula or extension tubing. Because it lives in a warm, moist air path, it perishes faster than ordinary oxygen tubing – keep a spare, and replace it whenever it discolours, stiffens or splits. Setup: push one end firmly onto the humidifier bottle’s outlet fitting and connect the other end to your cannula or tubing. Check for hissing – a soft hiss at the joint means a loose fit and lost oxygen.
