Keep the tubing routed along walls and away from walkways to avoid trips and kinks. As a rule, choose the shortest length that covers your daily movement – and remember tubing runs beyond about 15 m total are not recommended for most home concentrators. Replacement guide: cannulas are single-patient consumables. Replace every 2–4 weeks with daily use, after any illness, or when the tubing discolours, stiffens or the prongs lose shape.
